AX95-DB Amlogic S905X3-B TV Box Review
This is so exciting after months of stagnated TV box SOC development, the AX95 DB TV box has been released sporting a new Amlogic S905X3–B CPU that has been the buzz in the TV box community. I on the other hand am excited and at the same time is cognizant of the history behind new CPU releases, where we have seen many developers rush to release new models with the hope of cashing in on early enthusiastic buyers. In this review after having high expectations I discovered that there was nothing new about the performance of this new CPU, I recorded no new features, in fact in the the surround sound audio test the results were the same as any regular Amlogic S905X3 TV box. So what does the “B” stands for? Beats me I was expecting hi benchmarks, smooth handling, better gaming, and Dolby true HD. Instead what I got was a regular S905X3 TV box. Below are the results of my review.

Final Thoughts
Well I can say is that I am totally disappointed because the box is really isn’t any different from a regular Amlogic S905X3 TV box. The benchmarks are the same, the features are the same, its components are the same, and there is nothing unique to point to. The android TV OS operating system still frustrates me, where I have the sideload all my apps that I usually use on the full mobile version, other than that this is a regular standard S905X3 TV box. What does the B at the end S905X3 stands for? We will have to wait and see if other developers or big name brands such as the Beelink, Ugoos, and A95X release any models based on this new CPU and what they can deliver on it.
