Too Hot 🔥 Pendoo X11 Pro Android TV Box

Pendoo X11 Pro TV Box Review

So I decided to review the Pendoo X11 Pro TV box after my initial decision to not review any TV boxes running on the all winner H616 CPU and boxes running on the Rockchip RK3318 and the RK3328 after I continuously recorded poor performance and overheating from these boxes. However, there continues to be more and more models being released on this chipset and I felt that it was my duty to resume reviewing these models as my subscribers continuously pose questions to me about these new models. Even though I know the outcome of this review may disappoint not only manufacturers but reviewers like I believe it’s my duty as a TV box reviewer to present the facts to the public. As this may prevent interested parties from making the wrong choice and at the same time improves the credibility of my channel and blog.

Pendoo X11 Pro Pros and cons

Conclusion

I cannot recommend this box for anyone to buy, because even though it can pass as a basic TV box to streaming movies and TV shows, the box will eventually die do the excessive overheating. I continue to call out to the manufacturers of Allwinner models to fix the issue of overheating in their boxes by including ventilation holes below the box and improving on that type of heatsink they use on their boxes. In doing so they will then be able to set their CPU clock speeds much higher in the range of 1.8 GHz to 1.9 GHz safely.
