TiVo Stream 4K TV Box Review
The TiVo Stream of 4K TV Box has been making waves on the Internet and even on Main streaming media appearing on TV commercials on major networks. This must have been a lightning rod to those in the streaming community causing quite a buzz as to what this streaming device has two offer. The challenge for the TiVo is that it has two matchup to the likes of the new Chromecast by Google and the new Dynalink TV box I recently reviewed. With all that advertising much is expected of this device compared against these two models. In my review of this device I would say that there are some things I like about this device such as the included wireless voice remote over the Chromecast and the Dynalink models and the inclusion of a Type C port which allows you to use a flash drive, USB controller, or use expandable storage. Another feature I like is that they include a TiVo live TV feature where they provide built-in life TV channels for free as well as you have the option to use any premium streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon prime video, Disney plus, HBO, and many more and view them in HD and 4K quality. This is because the box is a fully Google certified and it has Netflix ESN certification. The areas where it did not beat the Chromecast and the Dynalink model is in performance benchmarks, digital surround sound audio formats, and Vulkan support for 3D gaming. Latest update!!! Tivo have updated their firmware and fixed the HDR feature and set it to “auto” so it comes on only when needed.

This device is a really good affordable option if you want to enjoy Netflix and other premium streaming services in HD and 4K quality, and at the same time have access to some live TV, and have the option of alternative streaming methods. At the same time it would have been nice if they had included the ability to connect a type C hub that would have made the world of difference in things you can do on it.
