Chromecast with Google TV Review
The release of the 2020 Chromecast with Google TV called the quite a stir with the announcement that Google had revamped the android TV operating system and has now rebranded Google TV. We all knew that the new Chromecast was going to be a premium streaming device and it would have featured Google assistant and Smart recommendations. However, we were kept in the dark as to what type of hardware or performance the world implementing.
For those of us in the streaming and cord cutter community were hoping that there would have been a sort of crossover between Google TV and the features that we enjoy on TV boxes running on the mobile version of android. With that said in this review not much of our expectations were different but I did get a few surprises from this new device.
The biggest surprise of all was its performance and the benchmarks so it defeating every S905X3 TV box on my chart making it the best S905X3 performing device for 2020. The new Chromecast as with any other streaming device does have some challenges and you can see those below.

To my best knowledge the 2020 Chromecast is using S905D3, not S905X3. That’s why it defeats all other S905X3 devices in benchmarks.
At the time they didn’t release and info on CPU model. So it was assumed.
