What Is the Kamrui E3B Mini PC?

The Kamrui E3B is a compact Windows 11 Pro mini PC. It is part of Kamrui’s Pinova Series lineup.

Under the hood, it is powered by the AMD Ryzen Embedded V2748 processor. This is an 8-core industrial-grade chip. It runs at 2.9 GHz base and boosts up to 4.2 GHz. Additionally, it comes paired with 16 GB of DDR4 RAM and a 512 GB SATA SSD.

In terms of size, the E3B is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. It also ships with a VESA mount, so you can attach it directly to the back of a monitor.

Kamrui E3B Mini PC Design and Build Quality

The Kamrui E3B has a clean, minimalist design. The chassis is compact and lightweight.

On the front panel, you get two USB-A ports, a USB-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an SD card slot. On the rear, you will find two more USB-A ports, a full-size HDMI port, a DisplayPort output, a USB-C port with DisplayPort support, and a Gigabit LAN port.

That rear USB-C port is particularly useful. It supports both display signal and data simultaneously. Consequently, you can connect a USB-C touchscreen with a single cable and get both display and touch input working at the same time.

Overall, the build quality feels solid for the price. The venting keeps temperatures in check during extended use.

Kamrui E3B Mini PC Benchmark Performance

This is where things get really interesting.

The Kamrui E3B Mini PC scored 1,289,960 on Antutu Benchmark. That is the highest Antutu score of any Windows mini PC we have reviewed on the TVBoxStop channel to date. Not by a small margin either.

On Geekbench 5, it scored 963 on the single-core test and 4,148 on the multi-core test. These are competitive numbers for this class of machine. Moreover, the PCMark 10 overall score came in at 4,870, with particularly strong results in the Productivity and Web Browsing categories.

On 3DMark Steel Nomad Light, the integrated Radeon Vega 7 graphics scored 708. For reference, that translates to 30 plus frames per second in Battlefield V at 1080p Ultra settings. However, at 1440p Ultra, performance drops below 30 FPS.

In short, this machine is a productivity and media powerhouse. Gaming at high settings is not its strength, but everyday computing performance is excellent.

Connectivity: Where the Kamrui E3B Mini PC Stands Out

Connectivity is one of the strongest areas of the E3B. It genuinely sets this machine apart from the competition.

First, it supports Wi-Fi 6E, including the 6 GHz band. In testing, download speeds on the 5 GHz band averaged around 340 Mbps. On the 6 GHz band, performance was equally strong. Meanwhile, the wired Gigabit LAN port delivered consistent speeds with latency as low as 11 milliseconds.

Second, the E3B supports triple display output. You can run three monitors simultaneously using HDMI, DisplayPort, and the USB-C port together. This makes it an excellent choice for multi-monitor workstation setups.

Third, Bluetooth is included. Additionally, the machine supports Android X86 and is FydeOS compatible. This adds further versatility for users who want to explore alternative operating systems.

Display and Audio Features

The Kamrui E3B Mini PC supports 4K resolution output at up to 3840 by 2160. It also supports HDR, including Auto HDR for compatible content and games.

On the audio side, this machine supports both Dolby Atmos and DTS:X surround sound. These are premium audio formats that you do not always find at this price point. As a result, the E3B is well suited for use as a home theatre PC.

Display orientation options are also available in Windows settings. You can run monitors in landscape, portrait, or flipped configurations.

How Does the Kamrui E3B Rank Against Other Mini PCs?

The Kamrui E3B currently ranks at number six on the TVBoxStop Windows mini PC performance chart. This chart ranks machines based on PCMark 10 scores across all reviewed units.

The five machines ranked above it include higher-priced options with more powerful consumer laptop chips. For example, machines with the Intel Core i5 12450H, Ryzen 5 5600U, and Intel Ultra 5 125H all sit above it on the chart.

However, none of those machines come close to the E3B on Antutu. In fact, the E3B outscores machines priced at $600 or more on that benchmark. This includes a machine running an Intel Core i9 11900H.

Therefore, if raw multi-core processing power is your priority, the Kamrui E3B Mini PC delivers exceptional value at $339.

Storage and Upgradeability

The Kamrui E3B ships with a 512 GB Netac SATA SSD as the primary drive. Sequential read speeds came in at 530 MB/s and write at 474 MB/s. These are solid SATA numbers.

It is worth noting that the drive is SATA based, not NVMe. If you need faster storage speeds, that is something to consider.

On the memory side, 16 GB of DDR4 RAM is installed in a single slot. A second RAM slot is available. As a result, you can add a second stick for dual-channel performance and a boost in memory bandwidth.

Additionally, expandable storage via SATA and M.2 slots means you are not locked into the factory configuration.

Pros and Cons of the Kamrui E3B Mini PC

Every machine has its strengths and weaknesses. Here is a quick summary.

On the pros side: highest Antutu score tested, rank six on the TVBoxStop chart, Wi-Fi 6E with 6 GHz support, triple display outputs, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X audio, 4K HDR support, Android X86 and FydeOS compatible, expandable storage, Gigabit LAN, and a VESA mount included.

On the cons side: integrated GPU only with no discrete graphics option, SATA SSD rather than NVMe, single-channel RAM from the factory, no Thunderbolt port, single-core performance behind modern Intel laptop chips, and a standard barrel connector power adapter rather than USB-C Power Delivery.
