Final thoughts
So the Mecool KM6 deluxe sporting its new Amlogic S905X4 CPU actually defeated at least one of the Amlogic S922X boxes on my rankings chart. It’s streaming, 4K video playback, and 3D gaming capabilities are outstanding, and on top of that it’s a Google certified TV box that can play premium services in HD and 4K.
It suffers from the same drawbacks as the classic model such as no 64 bit ABIs, no Netflix ESN certification, HDR display always on, no Dolby true HD output, and no temperature sensor.
