HK1 Box TV Box Review
The HK1 Box TV box is HK1’s first release for 2020 running on the Amlogic S905X2 1.9GHz, and the Mali G31 GPU. They are off to a good start., and the box has a new design and it comes with some great preinstalled apps for total entertainment. In this review there isn’t anything unusually outstanding about the box except for the 128GB internal storage and it being clocked at 1.9GHz. My experience with this box was good with some slight issues in the area of heat management and some random throttling during games. below are the results of my various tests.

Conclusion
This is a good box for streaming movies and TV shows. It is fast clocked at 1.9GHz on latest hardware. You can run IPTV apps on it without issues. 4K video playback is good and 3D gaming it also OK. The 1.9GHz clock speed generates a bit of extra heat, so be mindful of that. You have no nav bar and status bar so use alternatives. Finally the box does not have the required DRM support to play Netflix and Amazon Prime video in HD/4K quality. They do however play up to 480p quality.
Dear Sir,
I have this HK1 Box with problem, which is couldn’t turn ON
but the device front panel have red & blue LED permanently ON.
Can anybody know the reasons & appreciate if you can helps.
Thank You.
In your video, Atmos over TrueHD was played as LPCM 2.0. Isn’t that a con?
Are there any Android TV Boxes with Amlogic X905X3 that can passthrough Dolby TrueHD to a supported AV receiver?
Yes it is a con you can find all the TrueHD boxes on my list. Scroll to the right under the Dolby TrueHD column.
In the bottom right corner of the chart use the maximize button for full screen viewing.
