BMAX B2 Intel Win 10 Mini PC Review
BMAX is the name of a new brand that has entered the market with the new line of mini PCs one of them is the BMax B2 mini PC running on the Windows 10 operating system, and it provides performance and expandable storage options via M.2 SSD slot. The BMax B2 mini PC is one of their entry-level models that provides great performance and at the same time gives you great value at competitive price. In my review I was surprised that this model had a CPU post clock speed of up to 2.2 GHz. I like that they give you the option to install an additional M.2 SSD up to 2 TB. On this expandable storage you can install wide range of alternative operating system, from android x86, to Ubuntu, and LibreELEC .

Pros/Cons
When applied as a Windows desktop Mini PC as what it was built for it works okay. The base clock speed is 1.1 GHz which tends to make it run a bit slow in less demanding activities. What I like about the Windows operating system is that you can connect it to your TV and watch Netflix and Amazon prime video in HD and 4K quality without the worry about DRM support. The area where it’s lacking, is 4K video playback and the ability to play larger games with higher graphics.
When applied as an android TV box under an alternative operating system such as android x86 like I have done in the video, opens up a whole new set of features that you can perform as an android TV box running on Windows Intel hardware. However, as much as you have all these great features android x86 is still a work in progress and had some issues in the area of 4K playback, HDR display, Dolby and DTS digital audio formats, and smooth 3D gaming. However, 1080p videos played without issues, and smaller android games played better.
