Runs HOT!!! Eachlink H6 Allwinner H6 TV Box Review

Eachlink Allwinner H6 Review

The Eachlink H6 Max is a TV box that looked quite promising on paper when I bought it. With the Allwinner H6 that we have seen in the past perform so well, and I bought this one with 4GB RAM 64GB ROM, running on Android 9.0. Well doing this review was a pain as this box started getting worse the further dug into it. To make a long story short, this box overheats, it has low benchmarks, the firmware is disappointing, and there is no Dolby vision, DTS audio, and the 4K video playback it not good.

Conclusion

The Eachlink H6 Max has too many issues for me to recommend to anyone. It has great potential, but the overheating situation compromises everything. The problem is in the design of the box, the heatsink on the board is too small to effectively dissipate the heat, and it needs larger ventilation holes to allow better airflow. The firmware is lacking proper optimization and due to the heating problem, they governed the CPU clock speed to try to control it. During the review, the USB 3.0 port totally went dead, and never worked after that. The Eachlink H6 Max is a failed TV Box.
