Beelink GT King PRO 2.2GHz S922X-H CPU – New Design

Beelink GT King Pro Review

OK, it’s competition time of the year and today we have the release of the new Beelink GT King Pro model, running on the new Amlogic S922X-H CPU and clocking a whopping 2.2GHz on 4 DDR4 RAM and 64GB of internal storage. After Ugoos went on a rampage this year putting lots of TV boxes to rest, Beelink a big name in the industry was not about to lie down and rollover. This latest release is powerful and pushes the boundaries in TV box performance, some even say it rivals the Nvidia Shield. Well after testing the Pro model I can say it is much improved from the first model and to push the boundaries they had to use new hardware and a new design for optimum performance. It packs quite a punch, but the Nvidia Shield still holds the highest benchmarks. However, for cord-cutters and  Android gamers, the Beelink GT King Pro is a must-have.

The new Beelink GT King Pro TV Box is a really good TV for your home entertainment system. The Pros heavily outweigh the Cons which include the usual no DRM for Netflix in HD, and the other con that it should have had but it’s not compulsory is a root switch like in the Ugoos models. 4K videos, 3D gaming, and streaming free movies and TV shows, the Beelink GT King Pro delivers an entertainment experience placing it among the top 3 TV boxes for 2019.

  1. Dear staff,
I am really interested in this model. Does it mean that it doesn’t play 4k YouTube videos too? That would be a dealbreaker for me.

  2. Dear staff,
I wrote already a question in the afternoon, but it is gone now. I would like to know if I can play 4k YouTube videos with the Beelink GT King Pro? I do hope you will let me know please?

    • Hi Dutchie,

You can play 4K YouTube videos on the Beelink GT King Pro, you have to install the Android TV Version of YouTube. It is not the same as the on on the Google Play store. Use Aptoide or APKpure to install it.

      TV Box Stop

  3. Thank you very much for your reply, this is very helpful! I will purchase this box and follow your advice to install YouTube.
    Best regards,

  4. I have tried to install AFRd frequency switcher but it won’t install, does anyone know if it is possible to install this on the Beelink box

  5. Having been dissatisfied with this box and its operation particularly the remote which freezes often and has poor response even when line of site is only around 4m away I installed Corelec on an sd card and my first impressions are its so much better than the stock os, the colours are so much more vibrant and the fps and resolution changes automatically. I would recommend anyone with this box give Corelec a try you won’t regret it.

  6. Hi Brother,

Thank you so much for your videos, very helpful,

I have one question I want to buy one of these 2 boxes but I need your opinion of which you think is better:

Beelink GT-King Pro vs A95X MAX Plus
I need them for all purposes if you need to know like Gaming, Video Streaming, and IPTV.
And I heard in your video that the A95X MAX Plus have issues with the LAN Port and that is actually one of the main reason why I want one of these two boxes for there Gigabit LAN Port because I have 500mb Internet speed and I want to get advantage of that.

    Please Advise ASAP.

    • Hi the A95X Max+ does indeed have a LAN issue, and to my knowledge I don’t think they have fixed it yet.
So to be on the same side go with the Beelink GT King Pro.

  7. Dear staff,

Does it support Dolby Atmos pass-through and dolby vision?
Other websites claim it doesn’t, but in the above features list it does.
    “Dolby Audio/ATMOS/DTS Audio/THX”

Can you please verify that it does indeed support it or not.

    Best regards,

    • I would have been glad to test this for you but I gave away that box last week. However I believe that is does even though there are no settings like the Ugoos boxes. What I can remember is that I tested it after I bought the new receiver, and confirmes Dolby Atmos and DTS audio. The options are on by default.

  8. Hi,
    As mentioned, the device has a 2.2 GHz Cortex-A73 S922X-H chip. But in many sites it is mentioned as “Cortex-A73 @ 1.8GHz + Dual-core Cortex-A53 @ 1.5 GHz”.
Also, many user reviews mentioned that they received a 1.8Ghz box instead of 2.2GHz one!
Why is this difference and how to find which one is correct?
