JXD Singularity Android Gaming Tablet Review and Benchmarks

JXD Singularity Android Gaming Tablet Review

This is the JXD Singularity Android Gaming Tablet. This tablet is not your usual tablet, well… it has all the functions of a normal tablet but the design is geared towards gaming. The tablet is quite big in your hands and has a little weight to it. However, the display quality and performance is really good and my user experience was nothing but entertaining.

Display

When I first turned on the display, I was really impressed with the quality of the screen. With a display of 1920 by 1200 on an 7 inch ISP display with a density of 323ppi, and with a viewing angle of up to 178 degrees, made playing games and watching videos on this device a pleasure.

Memory

Even though it was not stated on the box, I am impressed with the 64GB of internal storage this gaming tablet comes with. The 4GB of of DDR3 RAM is also good, though the trend these days is DDR4. If you need more storage you can insert an SD card for up to 128GB of expandable storage.

Battery Life

The reason for the JXD S192K having a bit of weight is due to the powerful battery used in the tablet. It comes with a 10000 mAh Lithium ion polymer battery, and it can deliver up to 10 hrs of of gaming and up to 12 hours of video time.

Software

The UI and software I found to be the weak point in this gaming tablet. They used Android 5.1 Lolipop which is two versions from what is currently being used which is Android 7.1.2. Nonetheless, this does not affect the performance of the tablet, all it does is affect the experience of the latest Android we have come used to.

Dual Display

You have a micro HDMI output port that allows you to connect the JXD singularity to you TV for Dual 1080p and 4K display.

Summary

The JXD S192K Singularity is a fun gaming tablet to have the performance is great, the benchmarks are good. The only issue I had with is was the Android OS version, it should be rooted out of the box to allow keymapping apps to work, and they should have implemented a built in state of the art key-mapping application with user profiles like in the GKM Touch app found on the Google play store that I used in this review, instead of you having to install your own root and key-mapping app.

  1. In your review you state that you need to have root access and 3rd party key mapping apps. In other reviews and previous models you can use the built in keymapper. Does it not function properly? Does it have a swipe motion action key?
